The item for sale is a Winchester Model 43 Sporter "Deluxe" in the scarce 218 Bee caliber. The rifle is in excellent condition. The original blue is 95 - 98%. The blue on the bolt handle is 99% indicating very little or no use. The original wood/varnish is also 95 - 98%. The rifle is drilled & tapped from the factory for scope mounts which is correct for this serial number range. The serial number is 55713A indicating 1952 production. The rifle is fitted with the correct Winchester sling swivels and sights. Winchester chambered only two rifles in the 218 Bee, the model 65 lever action and the model 43 bolt action. The 218 Bee caliber is a scarce and desirable caliber in the Model 43. So finding a Model 43 Sporter in the 218 Bee cartridge is especially exciting. This rifle is truly collector quality and worthy of any collection. Please include $45 for shipping and insurance. A copy of a C&R or FFL is required for shipping.
