Description:
This is a rare Ogden, Smith & Hussey O/U built on a Woodward-Like sidelock action. It has a single trigger, which works flawlessly. The barrels are 30 inches long and are choked Imp. Cyl./Imp. & Cyl. The 2 ¾ inch chambers are bright, and the bores are mirror like. The barrels are Nitro Proofed for 1 ¼ ounce of shot. The gun is cased in its original Oak and Leather case, with brass corner bolsters, wood cleaning rod and original lock key. The gun has a length of pull that is 14 3/8 inches and weighs 7 pound 12 ounces.
Finally, this gun was featured in Sotheby’s “Fine Modern and Vintage Sporting Gun’s” of August 28th, 2006.
