Description: ***SOLD*** ~Geco Sportbuchse Model 28 .22LR single shot rifle, manufactured prior to 1939, based on the proof marks on the barrel and receiver. This rifle features a long 27.5" heavy target barrel with a blued finish, and a simple yet solid single shot mechanism. The stock appears to be a custom addition, as our research has yet to turn up a similar stock. The butt has a full profile and length with a generous cast off, and the forend is bulked up to allow for a full-handed purchase on the gun. The stock is also checkered nicely in the grip areas. The rifle is in overall great condition with some signs of age, as shown, however the bore is great and the action is smooth. Please refer to the photos prior to purchase.
