Description:
45 ACP caliber 5 inch barrel with a good bore and very tight action. This one has been updated with imitation mother of pearl grips with Colt medallions. Most all of the finish remains with some slight muzzle wear. The Argentine government licensed from Colt the Model 1911A1 and made 74,866 of these pistols at their factory. This one was made in 1953. Right side of slide is marked “EJERCITO ARGENTINO SIST. COLT. CAL. 11.25 mm. MOD. 1927” And D.G.F.M.-(F.M.A.P.) on the left side of the slide. A good looking pistol with all matching numbers and discreet import marks. Should make a fine shooter.
