Description:
The gun offered is a 28 gauge Charles Daly O/U shotgun manufactured by BC Miroku. Miroku manufactured the majority of the parts for the final runs of the Browning Superposed shotguns. This gun looks very much like a Browning in configuration and finish. Some changes from the original Browning desigh were made for the Charles Daly guns.
The gun is equipted with 26" barrels choked Skeet/Skeet and measure 3/4" center to center at the breech. The barrels have double bead sights. The length of pull is 14" over a Pachmayr Whiteline pad. the stock has a drop at the comb of 1 1/4" and a drop at the heel of 2". There is a very slight cast to the right.
Mechanically the gun is perfect and functions as desighed. The metal surfaces of the gun retain aproximately 95% or the original finish with no worn areas. The wood furniture is in excellent condition with only very minor handling marks. There are no cracks or chips to the wood and the high gloss finish about 95% original.
This is a beautiful little gun that would be perfect for upland bird hunting or for young lady or younger shooter. It would also make an excellent skeet gun.
