"Winchester 12 12 Gauge shotgun. Made in 1941 and was altered from a Deluxe skeet gun to a shortened barrel riot gun by Dow Chemical at the outbreak of WWII. The trigger guard is marked with Dows issue number 55805E33�. At the outbreak of WWII, defense plants used whatever guns they could get to supply guards. The Dow Chemical plant is near Freeport, Tx.
