"Colt Police Positive .38 Special caliber revolver. Manufactured approximately 1919. Bottom of butt marked by the factory ST.P.P.D. No 35 which we feel confident is St. Petersburg Police Dept. We have sold many police department Colts marked by the factory and this one is absolutely correct for a Colt Factory marking. Note: could be St. Paul Police Dept. Factory letter will answer the question and no we don’t have a letter.
