Description:
This is an excellent looking and working classic Winchester Model 70 Alaskan chambered in .338 Winchester Magnum. This rifle appears to be all original and was built in 1960. The barrel is 25 inches and has an excellent looking bore with sharp minty rifling. The blued finish looks excellent with only a couple faint spots of thinning. Overall I would rate the finish at 90-95%. There are a couple small nicks but otherwise the stock is in great sound condition with only faint handling marks and a length of pull around 13.5 inches to the factory Winchester marked butt pad. The bolt serial number matches the receiver. All the receiver screws are in great shape and not boogered up. This is an excellent example of a very collectibe pre-64 Winchester Model 70.
