Description:
The Model 27 was the most popular of all Hamilton rifles. This little rifle was once the prized possession of Leo Burgess as his name is carved into the end of the buttstock and "Leo B" is on the left side of the forearm. Barrel is 15 inches and chambers 22 RF ammo. Original sights include a blade front and a notch rear. Most original blue remains on the barrel. Frame also has most blue remaining with some light flaking. Trigger guard has thinning blue. Action functions fine. There were 500,000 Model 27's made from 1906-1930. This is the later Model 27 with the 1907 patent date. These have become quite collectable as they are affordable and don't take up much space.
