WORLD WAR I Era Rifle in .30 WCF!
Here we present a “L.A.Co.” Marked Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Carbine, made in 1915 in New Haven, Connecticut. The attribution is that this came out of Los Angeles County. There are known examples of the Winchester 1894 Carbine that were marked and issued to the Los Angeles Police Department in 1917. This carbine may represent a similar purpose or use.
The overall condition is fine. Original blue. The action is strong. The bore is in good shape. The ladder sight functions properly which is a great feature! “L.A. C.o.” is stamped into the right buttstock. Well used yet solid stock. Here is a unique Winchester Saddle Ring Carbine!
