Offered for sale is this delightful C. Golden 16 ga back-action hammer gun. Featuring nitro proof fluid steel barrels by Smith Midgley & Co. of Bradford England which are 29" in length and choked Left .34 Extra Full and Right .20 Improved Modified. Slight nick on end of left barrel muzzle as shown in photo. Bore diameter both left and right measure .667 with minimum wall thickness of left .027 and right .026. Right hammer appears to be repaired. Gun is tight on face, bores are excellent, barrels recently serviced and reblued in England. Stock is 14" to horn butt plate, drop at comb 1 5/8" and 2" at heel with no apparent cast. At 5lb 14oz this late 1800's gun is ready to shoot and will bring enjoyment for years to come.
