*******PENDING SALE*****My research and a call to Remington reveals that this rifle was built in 1979, on a shortened version of a Model Seven action. The XP 100 action is extraordinarily smooth with a jeweled bolt and butterknife bolt handle, serrated on the underside. The McGowan Barrel and receiver are a deep, glossy blue with Williams receiver sight and ramp front sight. The nicely figured walnut checkered stock features a satin finish with Schnabel forend, cheekpiece, Pachmayr White Line butt pad, grip cap and sling swivel posts. This is just an absolutely nicely designed, high quality rifle. I have been unable to find this rifle or any one similar to it in my searches, and would welcome any additional information anyone can provide. See the pictures for condition.
