Description:
This is an excellent Mauser HSC rig issued to the Nazi military in late 1941. The gun is properly Eagle/135 waffenamt and has Eagle/N proofs. The gun has retained about 96% of its original finish. The left profile view is excellent and there is very little finish loss on most of the gun. Most of the finish loss is on the very back of the tang. Besides that, there is very minor high edge wear and one small area of wear on the right side of the slide. There are a few handling marks on the grips and one circular black mark on the right grip panel. The bore is shiny with good rifling. The rig comes with one period-correct magazine and holster. The holster is ink-stamped, is waffen proofed on the closure strap, and is dated 1941. The leather around the hole in the closure strap is weak and a chunk of the top flap is missing.
