Description:
Savage was the importer for these exceptionally accurate West German rifles from sometime in the 1960's to near 1980. Some really special and unique guns came from this marriage; the beautiflly engraved 99PE and CE's and some deluxe 110's which were equipped with Anschutz West German Stocks. This gun is a high grade 222 Rem with what is thought to be the match action and is marked Savage Anschutz model 153. It is in exceptional condition (at lest 90%) with very little sign of use or being carried. The features inclusive of the classic roll over cheek piece resemble the later Meister Grade guns which sell for amts approaching 2,000.00.
