A top lever 8 gauge hammer gun marked J.Gordon.This gun has 32" laminated barrels choked full and full.The bores are good with excellent walls.The action is engraved with English scroll and the receiver retains traces of the original case colors.The checkering is sharp and the stock and forend are sound with no cracks or damage.The stock has a prince of Wales grip and good shooting dimensions of 141/2"LOP,13/4" at comb,and 23/4" at heel.The barrels are on face and lock up tightly with no play.The hammers are rebounding hammers.Built in the early 1890s.A classic 8 bore English wildfowl gun.Classified as an antique so it can be shipped direct.
