Description:
This is a rare Roth-Steyr model 1907 factory cut-away pistol produced without a serial number or proof marks that has been extensively cut about the frame, bolt and barrel exposing the internal mechanisms giving views of the trigger mechanism, hold-open, internal magazine and locking lug arrangement for the barrel. Typically produced in-house by arms manufacturers, cut-away firearms were an essential tool for training employees, military armorers and others in the functions of the weapons they would be building and maintaining.

Metal Condition: Very good showing evenly aged, untouched gray patina consistent across the surface and in the cuts with some minor handling marks and spotting.
Wood Condition: Quite good overall with light handling marks with a slight warp to the left panel.
