WW2 PRE-D-DAY SPRINGFIELD U.S. M1 OR M-1 GARAND RIFLE. .30-06 caliber. All original M1 numbered in the 1,453,xxx serial range produced in March 1943 with matching “S A 3-43” barrel date stamp. Original stock with crisp Ordnance crossed cannons stamp and “S.A./F.McF.F.” cartouche. Very good plus overall with most of the original Parkerizing. Wood with the original finish. Working order and very good bore. Shows moderate normal use but far above average for an early WW2 issued Garand. Originalsling.
