Description:
***SOLD*** ~Remington Model 241 Speedmaster .22lr semi automatic rifle, dated to 1949. This rifle is essentially a Browning model 24 design, for which Remington was licensed to produce, and did so between 1935 and 1951. The rifle features nice walnut furniture, as well as a deep blue finish on the barrel and receiver. The rifle is a takedown, meaning it can be separted into two halves by a simple pull of a switch of the left side of the barrel, and a twist of the interupted threads. The rifle is in excellent condition considering its age, with some small dings in areas of the stock, with most of the original blueing remaining intact. The rifles action is very smooth and the bore is brilliant with sharp rifling. Please refer to the photos to further assess the condition of the rifle.
