Description:
**SOLD**~Colt MkIV/Series 70 Government Model .45ACP 1911 pistol, dated to 1972. This pistol is not only a fine 1911 from the Colt factory, it has had some professional upgrades and custom work to make it a premium bullseye competition pistol. The pistol features a steel frame with a fine blued finish, and the frame has been fitted with Bianchi rubber wrap-around grips for a more tactile purchase on the gun. The slide has been fitted with a solid, serrated target-style rib with adjustable Patridge style target sights. The trigger has been fitted with a wider, serrated trigger shoe designed for target shooting. The pistol has a light spring setup, indicating that it is meant for softball/wadcutter loads, which is preferred for target shooting. The slide rails of the gun has been finely polished, giving the action a glass-smooth feel. The gun is in excellent working order, and the bore is superb.
