Description:
This is a very nice older Winchester Model 255 Lever Action Rifle in .22 WMR. The blued barrel and receiver frame are in very good condition, with a couple of minor scratches from use on the receiver frame sides. The blued 24" barrel is excellent with sharp crisp rifling in the bore. The smooth dark walnut stock is very good. The factory trigger has a short take up and a smooth light release. The factory Winchester butt plate has been painted white somewhere along its owner history. The overall condition of this Winchester is very good considering its relative age. The Winchester Model 255 was produced from 1963 to 1971. No box or other accessories .22 WMR
