Description:
Here is a great full size 2nd generation Smith & Wesson model 659 pistol chambered in 9mm Luger. This gun is all stainless steel so it has some weight to it and would make a great gun to target shoot with minimal recoil. Has a 4" barrel with an excellent looking bore that has minty crisp rifling. Adjustable rear sight with a fixed ramp front sight. This is a double action/single action pistol so it can be fired with or without the hammer cocked and any follow up shots will automatically cock the hammer so you have that nice light single action pull. Also has a safety that functions as a decocker. The grips are aftermarket Pachmayr rubber and they provide a nice solid purchase of the pistol when in hand. Comes with one original S&W 14 round magazine. Overall this is just a great looking and great working classic S&W pistol. There are the usual faint handling scratches that you always see on a stainless pistol but they could be buffed out if you wanted it to look new again.
