Description:
Colt DA 1878 Revolver. Cal. .45 5 1/2" barrel Original grips. Ser.# 43175 MFG 1900. Gun is overall grey and lightly pitted. there is some blue remaining, but it is sparce. and in protected areas.Cyl is matching numbered to the gun. Grips are very nice no cracks or chips and show very little wear. Gun fuctions fine but there is some play in the cylinder. It locks up tight on trigger pull and we have actually test fired it. The bore is bright and still has visible lands and grooves. Inside the gun is in good condition. Has a lanyard loop. Markings are fair. Overall its a pretty Fair example of an early DA Colt.
