Browning Safari Bolt Rifle - .300 Win. Mag. Cal. 24" Mag. Barrel w/ Ramp Front Sight & Hood B&L Balvar 2-1/2 - 8X Scope in Buehler Rings and adjustable 1 pc. Base. Walnut Stock with nice color and grain pattern. Checkering is sharp like new. Bluing is factory and rates 98+%. Stock has NO marks, scratches, dings or damage. Bore, chamber and rifling are clean and sharp. Belgium manufacture, the serial number is 594XX L70 and stock is numbered to the gun. Absolutely NOT SALT. The gun and stock was professionly checked out, swivel studs removed, recoil escutcheons removed - no sign of corrsion anywhere. This Safari would be at 100% except for the small marks on the under side of the barrel. The rifle and scope purchase dates back to 1971 and was used on one elk hunt. The vintage B&L scope needs to be cleaned, dust shows at the high powers. The price is adjusted to cover these issues.
