Description:
This is a very good condition Remington Model 722 Bolt Action Rifle in .222 Remington. The Model 722 is the short action of the model 721, which was produced from 1948 to 1962. This example was produced in June of 1955. The blued barrel and receiver frame are very good. The blued 26" barrel is excellent with sharp crisp rifling. The glossy smooth dark walnut stock is very good with minor handling and use marks. The factory smooth and curved trigger is light and smooth on release. In the 1940s' through the1960s' the 222 Remington was the benchmark for accuracy with target shooters. Own a piece of target accuracy history in this Remington Model 722.
