Description:
Japanese Wakizashi Short Sword, This vintage sword I believe is attributed to the Edo Period. The overall length in case is 26 ¾”, the blade from tip to handle measures 17 ¾” and from tip of blade to end of handle 25 1/4; the black Tsuba has a scene on both sides. The blade has some spots of discoloration and one small spot that looks like it blistered but nothing I think is drastic or alarming, please view photos. The scabbard has a small piece of wood missing just below the cloth shoestring type covering. As photographed and described its overall condition is good plus - very good. Inv. : # J 4373
