Description:
The rifle features a nicely floral scroll engraved receiver with gold inlaid border accents, gold "WINCHESTER/-TRADE MARK-" on the left wall and serial number "UG638" in gold on the right side of the receiver ring. The top left rear of the receiver is signed "Bottega C. Giovanelli". The barrel is manufactured without sights, with double gold inlaid bands, (one thin, one wide), around the muzzle and gold "1 of 1,000" on the right rear. The breech end is marked with the Winchester oval proof and the top of the receiver is factory drilled and tapped for scope mounting. The floor plate, trigger guard and grip cap are engraved with the same floral scroll design, with a big horn ram in the center of the floor plate with gold bordering. Jeweled bolt and follower, with floral scroll engraving on the bolt handle. Mounted with a nicely figured American black walnut pistol grip stock with fancy bordered checkered forearm and wrist, with Schnabel forend, grip cap, solid rubber Winchester recoil pad and sling swivel studs. .270 Winchester
