ITHACA U.S. 1911 A-1, CAL. .45 ACP, SER. 26290XX, THIS BEAUTY IS THE 3RD LEAST PRODUCED OF THE 1911A1s. THE CONDITION IS REALLY GREAT. THE GUN RETAINS ABOUT 97+% OF THE WARTIME FINISH. THE LITTLE LOSS THERE IS DUE TO SOME SLIGHT SHARP EDGE SILVERING FROM HOLSTER WEAR AND A LITTLE TONING OF THE FRONT GRIP. ALL PARTS ARE CORRECT FOR THE GUN. THE SLIDE DOES SHOW THE PROPER HEAT TREAT BAND. THE PLASTIC GRIPS ARE PERFECT AND THE RIGHT LARGE RING TYPE. THE LEFT SIDE OF THE FRAME IS STAMPED WITH A "P" PROOF, THE "FJA' INSPECTORS PROOF AND THE TOP OF THE SLIDE A "P" PROOF. THE GRIP SCREWS ARE ALSO PERFECT. THE FEED RAMP, SLIDE RAILS AND BOLT FACE SHOW VERY LITTLE USE. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH RAZOR SHARP RIFLING. IT COMES WITH ONE PROPER MAGAZINE. MODESTLY PRICED FOR THE COLLECTOR AND IT SHOULD BE SUPER AT THE RANGE..... $2095.
