i aquired this rifle from a gun shop that closed in early 1980's. It is in original serial number box with paperwork and hangtag. After very close inspection it apears as follows ( I try very hard to disclose all information so a buyer can make an informed purchased). The hang tag is in the box (not on front swivel) Also a set of leupold rings and bases in the factory box. I talked to the gentleman i purchased gun from and he advised to the best of his knowledge (he is now 80+ and this was approaching 50 years ago) a customer had purchased the rifle and rings to go with the rifle. He never completed the purchase and the gun was set back on the shelf.The stock is as perfect as can be.I can not find a mark or blemish on it.,just as it came from Weatherby. However on close inspection I discovered very light rust mark along the receiver just above the line where the stock and the reciver join each other. I have taken pictures of the receiver but not sure a buyer would be albe to see.It is very important to me that the buyer is aware of this defect.Other than that the gun is unfired and in orginal box as from weatherby with a bonus of the correct era leupold bases and rings.Please dont hesitate to ask for additional pictures or questions. call or text ED at 717-360-7432 Price includes shipping to lower 48.AK and HI a bit higher.Gun will ship USPS prioty to your FFL .I will include my drivers license for his transfer paperwork.Insurance extra at buyers expense.
