Ruger Model 77S in .270Win Caliber. Red butt pad. Rare configuration. The model 77(S) stands for shiped with sights but no scope rings. This Rifle has been certified by Ruger and comes with letter of authenticity. It was manufactured in May 1971 in Newport, New Hampshire's facility then shipped to Dayton Gun Headquarters, INC in Ohio in May 1971. This rifle is in good shape overall with a few minor blimishes. The wood has a few small places where the finish has been rubbed off but a beautiful piece of wood. The metal bluing is in good shape with a lightness on the end of the barrel from riding in a truck. Overall this rifle is in excellent shape! Due to the date of manufacture and where it was manufactured at I believe it has a douglas barrel on it. The firearm is very accurate.
