"German Model 71 Mauser rifle made by Amberg Royal Armory. Overall length is approximately 52½". The 33½" round 11mm Mauser barrel has an excellent bore. All the metal has a smooth brown patina. Stock is good with no cracks or chips, and has the nicks and dings to be expected of an issued rifle. All the numbers on the action and receiver match. The action functions correctly. The butt plate tang is unit marked but they are indistinct (B/4*). This is a nice representative Model 71 at a reasonable price.
