L. C. SMITH GUN COMPANY 410 GA.-3” CUSTOM DELUXE 28” SHOTGUN CIRCA 1950. Barrels choked Mod/Imod with 3” chambers. Marked on top of right barrel “L.C. SMITH-410 GA.-FIELD-FULTON,N.Y., U.S.A.”. Vent rib marked “SIMMONS GUN SPECIALTIES INC.” and with two white synthetic bead sights. Double triggers and extractors. Full coverage scroll engraving of frame, lock plates and mounts. Deluxe walnut checkered straight grip stock with checkered butt and checkered and border engraved heal and toe plates (15” pull, 1 ¾”, 2” drop). Checkered beavertail forend. Case colored frame, side plates and forend release plate. Blued barrels and mounts. 100% finish remaining and showing very little visible signs of use. Mint bores and perfect and tight working order. Serial numbered in the 55,xxx and shipped in early 1950-one of the last 410 gauge guns made. Extra handsome and very desirable upgraded "Field" grade to custom "Deluxe" with no expense spared.
