BROWNING SAFARI 243. Small ring Mauser action. Made 1960. These smsll ring 243's were only made until 1964.Has what appears to be the correct box but there is no end label. Has the more desirable early square bridge rear sight. Gun appears all original and is rare for a couple of reasons. It has a 22" pencil barrel instead of the standard contour 22" barrel usually found on these guns and it has a fore end tip which is rarely seen on a Safari grade Browning. Blue and metal is 99%, wood is 97-98% overall with nice color and figure. Nice collectable and rare Safari. C. & R.-FFL-OK. Shipping and insurance $40.
