A great condition 8 bore hammer gun signed J.Gordon.Built in the late 1880s or early 1890s,this gun has 32: laminated steel barrels with excellent bores.The barrels are choked full and full.This is a very well made gun with sharp scroll engraving,flat top checkering,,and good wood.The barrels have excellent wall thickness and are shootable with low pressure loads.The barrrels are on face and lock up with no play.Stock dimensions are 141/2"x13/4"x23/4" and the weight is 11-4.A rare gun for any collection and a true coversation piece.Classified as an antique so it can be shipped direct.
