Description:
This original, unaltered Krag rifle is a classic example of Springfield Armory workmanship at the turn of the century. The receiver is gray case hardening, the barrel has a significant amount of original bluing and a bore that is bright and shiny with strong rifling. The condition of the stock is consistant with the overall appearance of this fine piece. It has a clear cartouche dated 1902 and the firing circle P behind the trigger guard. Original Krag-Jorgensen rifles like this are becoming more difficult to find.
