This is a new in the box Nickel S&W model 13-1. It has a 4" barrel and the fixed sights. It has a Pinned barrel and the Recessed cylinder chambers. Case colored trigger and hammer. Hammer-mounted firing pin.
Gun was purchased new from a hardware store that was going out of business - and it has been a safe queen for 40 years.
Serial number dates this one to 1975-76.
Nickel has no cracks, no yellowing, no flaking.

Original grips have no scuffs or handling marks of any kind. Unusual blonde color. I've seen this a few times and they were all 1970s-vintage firearms. Shiny medallions. No buggered up screws. Perfect.
