Description:
Very good condition, late production Mauser Commercial. SN: 711725. Cal. 7.63mm.
Standard 1929-1930 Commercial with 4” barrel and 50-1000 tangent rear sight. Top of chamber marked Waffenfabric Mauser Oberndorf. Full serial number on barrel extension behind sight. Left side of frame with the large Mauser banner. Mauser informatin on right frame " Waffenfabrik Mauser Oberndorf A Neckar". As typical for late war production guns, virtually all components are salt blued. Broadly serrated somewhat worn walnut grips.
Condition: This C96 is in good, original condition with fading salt blue being replaced by a nice patina. Expected wear under barrel and on forward rails under magazine. Front strap shows some wear; backstrap good metal around slot. Grips have wear with scattered handling dings. Bright bore with some wear to riflings and no rust. Perfect manual mechanics. Functional and shootable with correct ammo.
