"French Flintlock Pistol with Canon Muzzle. This is a very fine pistol with silver wire inlays of floral and tendril designs. Barrel is two stage being octagonal to round. Steel furniture. Barrel is 4 ¼" and overall length 8 ¼". Action works perfectly. Pistol has 95% original blue. Stock is perfect. No chips or cracks. Stock has all of the original varnish. Handsome pistol and beautifully made. Made approximately 1780-1790. Caliber approximately .55. Elegant French Pistol!
