Mechanics are perfect. Virtually no pitting - VERY light 1 inch freckle near front left of the frame just under the slide, but on the frame. Totally worn making it a perfect candidate for restoring. Barrel retains nearly 100% nitre blue as does the trigger. Bore is quite nice. One original grip with one screw, reproduction grips included - no additional screws. I found a company in TN who does good restoration work, but never sent it off... (oldsouthrestoration) Great quote compared to Turnbull. I didn't want to pay for Turnbull because this isn't a family gun. Turnbull did send me a quote (hefty) so I could dig around for it so the buyer has an idea of what needs to be done (non mechanical). The TN company lists their pricing, so for about 1300.00 you could get a great deal. Just one of those things I just never got to - instead - I bought a new upland gun that set me back, so I'm selling off a few of my guns.
