Lots of history on Gen. Baron. I have two "Sands Times" magazines that will accompany this revolver both having several pictures of Baron with famous people - one being Carol Burnett. Baron was not only an IL National Guard General, but also a known member of the Chicago Mafia. He was the Sands Casino Executive "Greeter" and obviously was very well connected. He is believed to have been involved with killing Gus Winkler, Al Capone's man in the 1930's. Prior to the Sands, he was director of the Riviera Hotel in Cuba - again, under the Mafia.
On to the gun itself: Immaculate condition with only one scratch to the blue. Some color case hardening left on the hammer and trigger. Mechanically flawless. Tight lockup. Good bore. Highly saught after flat latch. No pitting, cylinder just needs a swab. This is a safe queen. Sure to be enjoyed for years to come. Paypal OK no mention of firearm. Add 3% or send funds as gift.
