Description:
This is an original Nambu Type 14 Rig issued to the Japanese military in November of 1943. The rig comes with an original holster, one magazine, a spare firing pin, and cleaning rod. There is not much actual finish loss - the gun has retained about 97-98% of its original bluing. There is one small spot of wear on the underside of the barrel and a couple of small areas of minor wear on the trigger guard. The more noticeable sign of wear is spotty oxidation throughout. It is all over the gun but most noticeable on the left side of the gun and on the straps. Unfortunately, the majority of the safety lever has broken off. The bore is excellent - shiny with good rifling. The gun is all matching and functions well (minus the safety lever, obviously). The grips are un-numbered, excellent, and original. It comes with one period-correct magazine that is mismatched to the gun. The holster is very nice and has an original paper label on the inside. The cleaning rod and spare firing pin are original. There is spotty rust on the firing pin and it does not match the gun.
