Description:
Very clean military issued pistol. 40K of these Mauser pistols were purchased by the Austro-Hungarian govt  for issue to their troops in WW1. Most were consumed by the war but a few did survive. These pistols can be found in any of the reference books on the Mauser C96, They are noted for having the flat phosphate finish, being in caliber 7,63mm, as having the "NS" stamped on the back of the Hammer for the new style safety. On the right side of the chamber are found two sets of marks. One is the acceptance marks from the Austrian Govt. The next ones are the acceptance marks from the Austrian Army, located just above the Govt's marks. This pistol also features unit markings from an Infantry Regiment.

The bore on this pistol is very good. I have shot it and found that it it functions as its supposed to, and that its surprisingly very accurate. CMR International offers stripper clips for loading the mauser pistols. This pistol is also number matching all the way through. Its getting hard and hard to find clean and correct WW1 martially issued firearms. If you have a number matching Gew 98, I'd  be open to a trade --depending  of course on the condition of  the Gew 98.

Being a modern type handgun, we will ship it to your FFL . cards add 3%. Let me know if yiou have any questions.
