We present an absolutely stunning 150th Anniversary Colt Single Action Army in .45 Colt, with 10" barrel with an excellent bore.
This lovely commemorative revolver has loose scroll engraving with punch-dot shading. There is a small wedge of engraving at the muzzle, an outlay around the barrel address and a slice over each chamber.
The backstrap has a golden medallion that reads "150 YEARS OF COLT CRAFTMANSHIP", arched over a circled 150th Rampant Colt logo.
The barrel is marked "- 1836 * 150TH ANNIVERSARY * 1986 -" below the barrel address. The metal surfaces retain about 99% plus Colt royal blue finish with no turn ring present. The smooth goncalo alves factory grips with gold colored "150" Rampant Colt medallions remain excellent.
This revolver is in beautifully fine condition and only 490 were manufactured in 1986. Various Colt revolvers with the long (10-inch or 16-inch) barrels were referred to as Colt Buntlines, the original SAA model with the long barrel was rumored to be a favorite of Wyatt Earp.
