Description:
We present a nice Lee Enfield No. 4 Mk I rifle chambered in.303 British and a 25 inch blued barrel, in good condition, with few wear marks on wood and metal.
Numbers matching, Crowns and other markings visible (see photos), some marks on top of receiver faded and hard to see.
Receiver marked with "NO4MKI F (FTR) 48", rifle does have small import marks under barrel (IAC).
This rifle has the cool brass oil bottle in the butt trap of the rifle, these were carried in the butt traps of the Enfield rifles both in WWI and WWII this one has a clear marking of the manufacturers initials (HJ&S) and other markings on the base, including the broad arrow.
This is a cool old rifle in a great caliber, fun to collect and shoot.
