Description:
Up for sale is a Stuart Satterlee Custom using a Remington 700 action in 6.5 Creedmoor.
The action is a trued, stainless Remington 700 receiver and bolt.
Bolt handle has been timed and tig welded for maximum case extraction and proper trigger reset.
Trigger is a retuned Mark X Pro set at 2 1/2 lbs, crisp and no creep.
Barrel is a K&P stainless 1 to 8 twist, medium sporter contour, threaded 5/8x24 with blended thread protector cap. K&P barrels are a premium cut rifled barrel, 1/4" stainless recoil lug.
Interior of the receiver has been deburrd and polished for smoother feed and function, rails, feed ramp, etc.
The stock is an H-S Precision Remington stock with internal aluminum bedding block. LOP is the standard 13 5/8".
It has a EGW picatinny rail with Talley 1" QR rings.
The scope is included for an additional $1000. It is a Swarovski Z5 3.5-18x44 with ballistic turrets.
The rifle has been fired 18 rounds so far, to confirm loads. The best is a factory Berger in 135gr Classic Hunter - 1/4" to 3/8" groups.
200 rounds of this ammo can be added for $300.
I tested Hornady 129gr Interlock ammo as well with the same results.
