Rare Holland & Holland 16 bore, 28" chopperlump barrels, original 2-3/4 chambers, choked modified and full (.014/.025), bores measure as new .668/.668. Finished in 1927, per the Holland & Holland factory ledger, this vintage self-opener features automatic ejectors and hand-detachable locks. Engraved in the H&H Royal pattern, the underside of the action is inscribed "Royal Self Opener". The gun has been completely restored to as new condition, fabulous case colors, flat top checkering as one would expect on a Best London Gun. Double triggers. Stock measures 1-1/2", 2-3/8" heel, 14-5/8" LOP to a checkered butt. Hard to find gun, built as an original 2-3/4. Weighs in at 6 lbs, 2 oz. A true scaled 16 bore top-of-the-line Holland & Holland. Cased.
