Description:
J P. Sauer 16 gauge side by side shotgun, dated 1915 from Sauer serial number chart. Barrels are each stamped J. P. Sauer & Son in small letters. There is a dealer name on the left barrel - Kai Hansen of Virore, Denmark. Unusually long barrel length at 29 ½”, chokes M & F, 14 ½” LOP, 1 ½” DAC, 2-?” DAH. Nitro proofed. Red rubber butt pad, standard German style cheekpiece, double triggers, cocking indicators, light engraving. Both bores are .659” and very bright and shiny. Very good overall condition. $65 shipping to your dealer. Shipping insurance is available at the buyer’s expense. The gun will be carefully wrapped, packed inside a new Plano plastic gun case, and in an exterior sleeve. This gun is coming from an individual and will include a copy of my driver’s license for your dealer to log the gun in with. If your dealer insists on the gun coming from an FFL holder, add $65, as that’s what my local FFL charges to handle an outgoing transfer.
