Hello all. Here is a new built- 12 /2019 - flintlock Poorboy Tennessee style long rifle. Stock is hard, spalted maple shaped into classic Tennessee mountain rifle.
PLEASE NOTE TO ALL INTERESTED.. As I was preparing to ship this to new owner, I found some really bad cracks opening up in the buttstock. There is no way I would send this out,SO-- I am now using it for a display piece to offer similar builds using new maple wood stock of several grades,from plain to fancy.Options to include buttplates, and varying sizes of caliber, barrel length,size-ex 7/8", 13/16, or larger 15/16, 1".
I will be selling this same style rifle beginning at 1100.00 plus shipping,probably 75.00 UPS . USPS is too dangerous to send anything like this currently. Please dont ask how I know. It wasnt TOO expensive a lesson.

Barrell is Orion 50 cal 1-60 or so twist.Lock is L&R Durrs Egg flint, triggers are also L&R.No buttplate or nose cap, hand made rr pipes .Proper Bean style trigger guard with decorative file work. Soon to be finished as other metal.
Built with the tight budget backwoods hunter of old in mind.Havent shot it yet. Some prefer unfired. Finish is Laurel Mtn nut brown with ebony toner, sealed and truoil applied many times.
Metal is cold blue rubbed back.
