Description:
Here is a walnut stocked Hawken style plains rifle for long range shooting. Has folding tang sight, fold down rear sight.36" 54 cal Green mtn barrel.
Lock is Davis large percussion, L&R long bar triggers ,long Hawken tang and hook breech.Iron hardware rust blued and rubbed back.
Very dense and figured walnut stock shows a repair I made when building . Cracked all the way, was glued and screwed togather and very secure. Too nice a stock to throw away.
I am reposting this as I would like to see it go get used and enjoyed. I appreciate those that have expressed interest previously.
