From the oldest German gun manufacture JP Sauer & Son. Original condition, model 40, 20 gauge, 28" barrel, beavertail forend, ejectors and beautifully deep chisel engraving. This is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship created by the very best artisans of the day.
I've hunted with this gun. At 5.9lbs, it's perfectly balanced, ejectors are timed and shoulders perfect. This is truly a "Best" German side x side.
