This is a very nice Whitney Navy Second Model 2nd Type. 6 safety notches at back and .36 caliber 7.5" barrel with an Excellent bore.All matching Serial numbers #6288 and are found on both grip panels, loadind lever, brass triggerguard, frame and barrel. Inspecters initial "W" is found on barrel and back of cylinder. Right grip panel has inspecter's marks "D" and "N" on back. Action is crisp. Grips are fine, slightly undersizes. Screw heads are Excellent. Light Traces of the Cylinder scene is all that is remaining. Finish is all a Blue Brown patina. Top barrel flat is marked "E.WHITNEY/N.HAVEN".
